Our Process:

The key to long-lasting leak-proof protection and energy savings is proper preparation. That's why we take the time to identify and repair weak or damaged areas of your roof as part of our complete metal roof restoration process.

Step 1: Preparation / Priming

Commercial Roof Priming

Most aging metal roofs have at least a few weak spots, rust or corrosion that needs to be treated to prevent further damage. Our first step is neutralizing all rust and weak spots with Metal Encase(R) metal primer.

Step 2: Caulking

Commercial Roof Caulking

The fastener heads on your metal roof are potential leak points that need to be caulked to prevent leaks. We use Kwik Kaulk Fastener to seal the fastener heads throughout the roof to protect these potential weak spots.

Step 3: Seam Sealing

The weakest point on most metal roofs is the seams. That's why we waterproof all the seams on your roof with Conklin butyl tape or Spunflex fabric and apply two layers of base coat.

Step 4: Final Coat

The last step is applying the final topcoat that adds a reflective finish to your roof that not only protects your roof from the harmful UV rays of the sun, but also keeps your roof cooler all summer long for significant energy savings.
